FOUR DAYS OF GLINES DAY FOUR!

It's the FINAL day of GLINES!
Hate to see it go, but loved to have it here!
Today is the review of The Vincent Brothers!

Getting a boy to fall head-over-heels in love with you isn’t easy. Especially when he’s been in love with your cousin for as long as you can remember. Lana has lived her life in her cousin’s shadow. Ashton always made perfect grades, had tons of friends, and looks model-perfect. And she’s always had Sawyer Vincent—the only boy Lana’s ever wanted—wrapped around her finger. But now things are different. Lana has a chance to make Sawyer see her, and she’s taking it. If only he’d get over Ashton—because Lana is sick of second-best. Sawyer’s heart is broken. He’s lost his best girl to his best friend. And then Lana comes to town. Ashton’s cousin has always been sweet and soft-spoken, but now she’s drop-dead gorgeous as well. Sawyer doesn’t know if Lana can heal his broken heart, but spending time with her might at least make Ashton jealous. What starts as a carefree fling becomes a lusty game of seduction. Sawyer and Lana may have different motives, but their scintillating hookups are the same kind of steamy. . . .

Okay, so while reading this it sent my urge to shake fictional characters into high gear
(hey now, I'm manic depressive and the manic was a wee bit out of control today)
Now, the reason WHY I wanted to beat the holy living hell out of them was because THEY KEPT SCREWING THINGS UP!!!
Seriously! You do NOT get a manic depressive emotionally involved in a book and then have things f*ck up! It makes me even crazier than normal!
Gah!
Now, that all sounds bad, but when you think about it in a readers aspect, its actually a good thing.
Why? Because it means that I actually fell into the book and it consumed me enough to drive me crazy ;) See where I'm going there?
The Vincent Brothers is, I think, better than the Vincent Boys.
Don't get me wrong, I loved both of the books, but I just connected better with The  Vincent Brothers.
Of course, I'm still irritated with Sawyer and still thought he was an ass through most of the book, but my reasons for that have changed.
He's now an ass to me because he was too stupid and hung up on Ashton to realize how awesome Lana is (commence character strangling).
BUT, luckily for his fictional life, he straightened up. THEN Lana had to go all emotionally broken and disappear (commence second round of character strangling).
Luckily for her fictional life, everything worked out ^.^
(Yay aggression!)

In the end, I didn't have the urge to strangle anyone anymore and was filled to the brim with the weepy, warm fuzzy ball of light feeling that has your breath catching in your chest and tears forming in your eyes. *sigh* I love a great ending!

Speaking of endings, its the FINAL DAY to get your entries in for the GIVEAWAY!
I hope you guys enjoyed the Four Days of Glines and look forward to seeing you again in a future spotlight!

  1. My favorite type of love story is the ones where the couple save each other and are better together than apart. It also has to end happily or else it's not a true love story.

  2. I do enjoy it when things go wrong, but if there is too much it gets boring for me. I want them to have an adventure in the romance and not the I hate you / I love you battle. Thank you for the fun :)

  3. I enjoy love stories with HEA's. I'm real disappointed when things don't work out for the H/H.

  4. I like love stories with real suspense. Abbi is also a tremendous story teller, which always helps :)
